近年ブランドが注力するニットウェアラインより、ほぼ毎シーズン展開してきた MAFIA シリーズの最新作 が登場。
1950 年代から 60 年代の NEW YORK。
イタリア系マフィアやギャング、クラブの用心棒たちが、ドレスシャツとスーツほど堅くなく、T シャツほどラフでもない“中間着”として纏っていた 衿付きニットシャツ の佇まいを着想源に、現代的なサイジングで再構築した一着。
素材には上質な ウールにナイロンをブレンド し、わずかにスポーティーな光沢を与えつつ、度詰で編み立てることで、奥行きのある高級感と静かなエレガンスをもたらしている。
シルエットはレギュラーフィット。
編み地もあえて装飾を排したミニマルな設計とし、“長く着続けられるプロダクト”という、ものづくりの本質に改めて立ち返った。
時代を超えて静かに楽しめる、MAGIC STICK らしいニットシャツ となっている。
また、要望の多かった WMNS シルエットも展開。
WMNS のみで用意した Deep Wine は、今季のシーズナルカラーとしてラインナップされている。
Introducing the latest installment in the MAFIA series, which has been featured almost every season within the knitwear line that the brand has focused on in recent years.
The design takes inspiration from the look of the collared knit shirts worn by Italian mafias, gangsters, and club bouncers in NEW YORK during the 1950s and 60s—garments that served as a "mid-layer," being less formal than a dress shirt and suit but not as casual as a T-shirt. This look has been reconstructed with modern sizing.
The material uses high-quality wool blended with nylon. This imparts a slight, sporty sheen, and by knitting it tightly, it achieves a deep sense of luxury and quiet elegance.
The silhouette is a regular fit. The knitting pattern is deliberately minimal and devoid of ornamentation, returning once again to the essence of craftsmanship: "a product that can be worn for a long time." This results in a MAGIC STICK knit shirt that can be enjoyed quietly across eras.
Furthermore, a highly requested WMNS (Women's) silhouette is also available.
The Deep Wine color, exclusively offered for the WMNS silhouette, is featured as a seasonal color this season.
