Tシャツという日常着を、ニットウェアの文法で再構築した一枚。
糸は2/68NM。極細番手のコットン65% / ポリエステル35%混紡糸を、16ゲージのハイゲージ機で天竺表目に編成。度目をきつめに詰めて編むことで、表面はカット&ソーに迫る滑らかさを保ちながら、ニット特有の編み目が持つ呼吸感と、身体に沿うように落ちるドレープを残した。コットンが肌に与える優しさと、ポリエステルがもたらす形状保持性——その均衡点として選ばれた組成。
衿は1×1リブのダブル仕立て。リンキングバインダーで見頃を挟み込み、首元に厚みを残さず、輪郭を整えている。
ハイゲージで薄く編み立てたことにより、ニットでありながら夏場の単体着用にも対応する軽さと通気性を備えている。コットンの吸湿性が肌側の蒸れを逃し、ポリエステルの混紡が汗による伸びや型崩れを抑える。手洗いを重ねても風合いが落ちにくく、シーズンを越えて着られる耐久性を持つ。
シルエットは、MAGIC STICKのベーシックライン"CORE"のS/S Teeをベースに、ニットの落ち感と肉感を計算してリサイジング。着丈は短めに、身巾はワイドすぎない範囲で取り、ボクシーに収まるよう設計した。一枚でも、レイヤードのインナーとしても成立するバランス。
イタリアやフランスのニットメゾンが長年磨いてきた「ニットでTシャツを編む」という発想を、東京の身体と気候に置き換えた解。袖を通した瞬間にわかる、布ではなく編み地でしか得られない着心地がある。

Knitted on a 16-gauge high-gauge machine in a plain jersey stitch, the garment utilizes a 2/68 NM ultra-fine count blend of 65% cotton and 35% polyester. By tightening the stitch density, the fabric achieves a smooth surface texture that rivals cut-and-sew apparel, while still retaining the inherent "breathability" of knit loops and a fluid drape that contours gracefully to the body. This specific material composition was chosen as the ultimate equilibrium point—harnessing the natural softness of cotton against the skin and the exceptional shape retention offered by polyester.
The collar features a double-layered 1x1 rib structure. Attached using a linking binder that sandwiches the body panel, it ensures a flat, bulk-free finish that neatly frames the neckline.
Thanks to the lightweight properties of the high-gauge knit, this piece offers the exceptional lightness and breathability required for standalone wear during the peak of summer, despite being a knit garment. The moisture-absorbing qualities of cotton effectively release humidity from the skin side, while the polyester blend prevents stretching and loss of shape caused by perspiration.
