MA-1の構造をベースにしながら、裾・袖のリブを削ぎ落とし、無駄を省いたミニマルな佇まいへ再構築。
袖先と裾にはテクニカルなゴムシャーリング仕様を採用し、機能とシルエットの自由度を高めている。
着丈は短め、袖にはゆとりを持たせ、今の気分を捉えたワイドショートバランスに設定。
中綿には20gインサレーションをごく薄く封入し、春先にちょうど良い軽量アウターとしての着用感を実現。
展開素材もバリエーション豊富。
MA-1ツイルをピグメント加工でフェードさせたモデル、同素材の無加工ソリッドバージョンに加え、特筆すべきは90年代にサウジアラビア空軍が開発したグレーの6Cチョコチップカモを完全再現したプリントモデルや高級感を演出する肌触りの良いピーチスキンがラインナップ。
デザイナー自身が長年収集してきたアーカイブをもとに生み出された、資料性の高い一枚。

This season’s priority outer piece, the new light outerwear. While based on the MA-1 structure, it has been reconstructed into a minimal silhouette by stripping away the ribbing from the hem and sleeves. Technical elastic shirring is utilized at the cuffs and hem, enhancing both functionality and the freedom of the silhouette. The length is set short with spacious sleeves, achieving a wide-short balance that captures the current mood. The interior is filled with a very thin 20g insulation, providing the perfect lightweight feel for early spring.
The material variations are extensive. The lineup includes a model featuring pigment-dyed faded MA-1 twill, a solid non-processed version of the same fabric, a print model that faithfully recreates the grey 6C Chocolate Chip Camo developed by the Saudi Arabian Air Force in the 90s, and a luxurious-feeling peach skin fabric. This is a piece of high archival value, created based on the designer’s own long-term collection. It is a signature MAGIC STICK approach, stripping away the harsh elements of military wear to redefine it as something clean. With a wide range of colors, it offers styling options for various scenes, from urban life to travel destinations.
