今シーズンのプライオリティプロダクト。New York metropolitan art of museumとのコラボレーション製品。
一般的なコラボレーション製品でよく見かけるTHE METロゴのみのものと差別化を図り、何故THE METとのコラボレーションなのかという意味を持たせ、THE METの魅力でもある膨大な作品数から年代や作家の枠を飛び越えブランドが良いと思った作品を多数ピックアップし一つのウェアにレイアウト。また画家や作家が多く着用していただろうペインターパンツを選び、数シーズン展開しベーシック化を検討しているワイドシルエットで制作。仕様は80年代のペインターパンツからサンプリングしつつ、ウエストに平ゴムを入れベルトなしでも着用できるスピンドル仕様も追加。裾にかけてのワイドストレートフィット少し短めに設定したレングスで、レザーシューズ等との履き合わせが美しいシルエットを演出。
厚手のダック生地を使用しているが製品にはウォッシュ加工を施し着古したような柔らかさとヤレ感を追加。
またインライン扱いとして別品番でソリッドバージョンも制作。
This season's priority product is a collaboration with the New York metropolitan art of museum.
We have picked up a number of works that the brand thought were good, transcending the boundaries of age and artists, from the vast number of works, which is the charm of THE MET, and laid them out on a single garment. While sampling the specifications from the painters' pants of the 80's, we added a flat elastic waistband and a spindle specification that allows the pants to be worn without a belt. The wide, straight fit with a slightly shortened length that goes all the way to the hem creates a beautiful silhouette when worn with leather shoes, etc.
The thick duck fabric is washed to add softness and a worn-in look.
A solid version is also available as an in-line item.
